About Brian Cendrowski
I’m Brian Cendrowski, beer blogger and homebrewer. I first began my adventures in craft beer around 2003. My love of beer and the craft beer culture has turned this into more than a hobby for me.

In January 2007 I brewed my first batch of beer, a red ale from extract. It wasn’t great, but it was drinkable. A few months later I was totally hooked on all things beer, so in May 2007 I decided to go global and start my personal beer blog, Untamed Beer.
Since that time, I have had a lot of cool opportunities, including interning at a commercial brewery (Coast Brewing Company in North Charleston, SC), emceeing beer dinners, meeting and interviewing commercial brewers, brewing some damn good beer myself, publishing the Hop Tips e-newsletter for the Southern Brew News, and now, being a contributing blogger on RateBeer’s HopPress.

As part of the HopPress Gang, my posts will be published every Thursday, with a few others possibly sprinkled in. I hope to add a little bearded flare to the HopPress crew. I try not to take myself too seriously, so we should have some fun.
In addition to blogging on RateBeer, here are some other places you can follow me:
- Untamed Beer – my personal beer blog, filled with anecdotes of homebrewing, travels, beer reviews and even current events.
- @untamedbeer – you never know what will happen on the Twitters.
- Southern Brew News Hop Tips e-newsletter – a calendar of beer related events for the Southeast, sent bi-monthly.
- Linked In & Facebook – I’m there, but not too active right now.
- My other personal blog – in case you care what I have to say other than about beer. I don’t update this blog nearly as often.
I’m also available for children’s birthday parties, confirmations and Bar Mitzvahs.
